The following link will take you to a video produced by West Sussex Council (that I first saw on the consumer programme Watchdog) which explains how to use a mobile phone.
I love almost every moment of this, particularly the lines 'Like me, it's switched on and raring to go,' and 'Select the digit of choice, in my case, the left index finger.' And the opening address to the camera really captures the world-weary tone of the English consumer: 'I'm in a busy city centre. I've been shopping. I'm tired, and it's time to phone a friend.'
