F.I.R.E. (The 95th Anniversary of Italy's Decision to Join the Triple Entente)

"...encouraged by the Allied invasion of Turkey in April 1915, Italy joined the Triple Entente and declared war on Austria-Hungary on May 23. Fifteen months later Italy declared war on Germany..."

And my guess is that this record, celebrating the new addition to the Triple Entente, was recorded very shortly after that. An obvious morale booster, it works - if it works at all - because the initialism created by the four powers can be read as 'FIRE':

'F' stands for France, And 'I' for Italy; 'R' stands for Russia - But what about the 'E'...

'E', if you hadn't guessed, stands for 'little England'.

My friend Tom commented that this is the kind of song only a general would write.

I wonder if there are any Italian 78s with a similarly jubilant take on this?
